Preparation Instructions
- Buttermilk Fried Chicken: dip the raw chicken into buttermilk (leave overnight if possible).
Use our buttermilk hack. Mix 100ml of milk with 250g of yoghurt
For regular Fried Chicken, dip into a 50:50 egg & milk mixture. - Coat chicken pieces in our Bird Dust coating (Optional) Want it crunchier? Dip the coated chicken back into the buttermilk (or egg/milk mixture) and then back into the coating one more time.
- Let chicken rest for a few minutes for coating to really stick
- Deep fry at 165°C (350°F) until fully cooked
